What Success Looks Like for Amazon PPC Specialist:
A successful Amazon PPC Specialist owns end-to-end PPC strategy and execution, ensuring clients achieve their SMART advertising goals. They collaborate with the Brand Manager, who leads client communication, joining planning sessions as needed. When a churn risk arises, they work closely with the Brand Manager to resolve issues and retain at-risk clients. Maintains client retention over 80% every quarter.
Job Scorecard (Metrics to measure performance):
- 24-Hour Response Rate: 100% adherence on Slack/Email.
- KPI Goals: Stay within ±10% of PPC targets.
- Automation: Use Scale Insights to automate 95% of PPC campaigns for new clients.
- Efficiency: Reduce PPC cost per order by 15% in 60 days for new clients.
- Revenue Growth: Increase revenue per click by 10% in 60 days for new clients.
- PPC Growth: Increase Total PPC Revenue by 20% in 60 days for new clients.
- Client Retention: Achieve an 80% client renewal rate every quarter.
- Churn Prevention: Flag and resolve 90% of at-risk clients within 30 days.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end PPC management, setting and optimizing SMART goals to meet KPI targets while minimizing wasted spend.
- Verify ad segmentation, reduce wasted ad spend, and reduce ACOS
- Ads Setup for new accounts and ensure segmentations, keyword research, and correctly setting ads budgets.
- Automate PPC with Scale Insights, within 30 days for new clients.
- Support client retention by working with Amazon Brand Manager to resolve at-risk accounts, maintain an 80% renewal rate quarterly.
- Work with Amazon Brand Managers, SEO & Copywriting teams and support other PPC related activities as needed

- Amazon PPC Strategy & Optimization – Expertise in bid management, campaign structuring, and ACOS/TACoS optimization.
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Ability to analyze performance metrics, reduce wasted ad spend, and optimize for profitability.
- Automation & Tools Proficiency – Experience with Scale Insights, bulk files, macros, and AI-driven PPC automation.
- Keyword Research & Ad Segmentation – Strong skills in keyword discovery, match types, and audience targeting for effective ad performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Ability to work with Brand Managers, SEO, and Copywriting teams to align PPC with overall strategy.

Experience Requirements (Last 2-3 Years of Proven Execution):
This role is for a performance-driven professional who has demonstrated success in Amazon PPC campaigns within the last 2-3 years and can apply that expertise to drive continuous growth. - Amazon PPC Execution – At least 2+ years of hands-on experience actively managing Amazon PPC campaigns, demonstrating a history of increasing ROI, reducing ACoS, and scaling ad spend profitably.
- Budgeting & Forecasting –Proven ability to plan, allocate, and optimize ad budgets, ensuring efficient use of ad spend through data-driven bid strategies for 2+ years.
- Data-Driven Optimization – Strong experience in analyzing campaign data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies that have led to performance improvements.
- Amazon Campaign Strategy & Execution – Hands-on expertise in structuring and optimizing campaigns, refining keyword strategies, adjusting bids, and leveraging ad placements to maximize conversions.
- Industry Awareness & Adaptability – Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of Amazon’s algorithm updates, emerging PPC trends, and new ad tools, integrating these changes into successful ad strategies.
- Client Communication – Experience in client discussions, providing performance insights, and managing expectations with at least 3-4 client accounts through regular calls and reports.
